To Rosemead Education Center:

In 2002, our son started attending Rosemead Education Center when he was only two years old. We were immediately impressed with the clean facility and classrooms, not to mention the welcoming staff. We knew that our son was being cared for in a safe environment. As we got to know the teachers, we noticed their dedication and professionalism. The center offers an advanced curriculum to the students. We were so pleased with the center that our son continued to attend the school for four years, even through Kindergarten.

In 2008, we decided to enroll our daughter in Rosemead Education Center when she turned two. She is really enjoying the experience. She was so excited to go to the school that her big brother attended. It was such an easy transition as she bonded immediately with her teachers. They provided the structure that she needed. She has been able to grow, develop and achieve so much academically and socially.

On Saturdays, both of our children attend Saturday school to learn Mandarin. Our children are there for three hours. During that time, they learn fun rhymes and phonics, as well as how to write some of the Chinese characters. Both of our children are really enjoying learning a 2nd language and we know that it will benefit them in the future.

As educators, we are extremely critical of the instruction and care that our children receive. We continue to be impressed by the hard-working teachers and administration. They do such a wonderful job in creating a safe and engaging learning environment. We truly appreciate the education that our children are receiving at Rosemead Education Center and highly recommend the center as an excellent facility.

Sincerely,

Kimberly & Alberto Lazaro

Dear Administration and Faculty of Rosemead Education Center,

I would just like to thank you and commend you for the educational program you in place at the school. We wholeheartedly believe that our two children have benefitted not only academically, but socially as well. We have nothing but accolades for the teachers and their daily lessons given to the children.

We were first introduced to Rosemead Education Center by a friend's recommendation. Her daughter had been there for 2 years and was so impressed by the program. We went ahead enrolled our daughter, Leila, in the summer 2007. Right away she was surprising us with her knowledge and recognition of the alphabet, numbers, and even seasons. We were truly convinced it was because of her lessons set forth by her teachers. Moreover, her social development and people skills began to blossom. She was no longer timid to speak up in a group of other peers. To this day, she likes to pretend that she is the teacher. She even impressed the administrator of her kindergarten entrance exam at her current school with concepts she learned from Miss Anna and Miss Vivian. The two years she spent at Rosemead Education Center were by far the best investment we could give to our daughter.

Not only did we send our daughter here, but we chose to also enroll our son, Aria. He is currently in Room 3 with Miss Alma and Miss Susan. Again, we have nothing but good things to say about the daily lessons he receives. They have managed to not only help us in the potty training process, but they have also helped him academically and socially as well. In addition, we truly believe he is one of your least picky eaters. The meal program is just right for kids and needs no adjustment. We are confident that he, too, like our daughter will succeed because of the school's solid foundation.

Thank you for sticking to your mission statement and always keeping the children's interests first. We hope that other families can also benefit from your program as our family has these past two years. We will continue to recommend your school and would not hesitate to pass on our thoughts with others.

With Gratitude,

Attn: Future Parents

This is a letter of recommendation for Rosemead Education Center. I cannot say enough about the school. The administrator, teachers, and the cook are an asset to the school. As a mother, I looked and interviewed several potential daycare/schools/kindergarten before enrolling my first child and second child at REC. I had the pleasure of first interviewing Mrs. Li. She is a wonderful caring and loving individual who is a problem solver. She answered all my questions and toured me around the school. I was given the opportunity to meet with each teacher at different age levels and reviewed all the materials, books, flash cards, homework, computers, painting, colors, and other classroom curriculum that was available. This was an added plus, because it reassured me that the children were there for an education and to have fun in a loving environment.

Another thing that thing that I liked about the school is their security. It only has one way in and one way out. Security is tight and there are always more then a handful of teachers watching all the children while interacting with each other at the playground. During the recess hours, the playground is divided into two sections. One section is for the younger 2 and 3 year olds and the other for the 4 and 5 year olds. I really appreciated the age separation between ages, because mentally and physically the younger 2 and 3 years olds do not have the capacity to play as vigorous as the 4 and 5 year olds do.

I also had the opportunity to meet with a very lovely lady by the name of Ms. Cindy, the cook. She truly is an asset to the school. She prepares all the meals for the children. They all receive breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. How she does is beyond me. All the meals are nutritious and the children all learn to eat fruits and vegetables, even those picky eaters like my children. If you are curious about the menu, please ask Ms. Li for the lunch menu and she will be happy to provide you with a copy.

But, what I truly like and was amazed is how all the teachers managed to motivate and bring out each child's true potential in phonics, language, math, science, art, singing, and dancing at such a young age. I truly have a great respect for their skills and patients. By the age of 3 year old, each child will receive homework between one to two pages to reinforce their education. In a blink of eye, you will begin to notice how quickly your child will begin to spell his/her name, trace letters, spell words, count and identify from 1 to 100, enunciate letters, and sounds. What a blessing in getting young child ready to read! With all the cut backs that our school system is experiencing, attending a preschool like this one is only an added advantage in their learning ability.

I almost forgot to mention the additional classes available during the week and weekend for instance dance music, Chinese language, and art class. I can honestly say it is a place to call home. Where the children feel love and secure in a happy environment. I would strongly recommend Rosemead Education Center to anyone interested not only in daycare/kindergarten, but as stepping stone to higher learning.

Sincerely,

Sandra L. Loarca
